Well, the Warband experience was pretty darn great until I joined a 64 player server. It was a little painful to see how awful people were to each other. I mean, it's one thing to see that any old online game, but for a closed beta? Sheesh, some respect would be nice.
Anyways, the real problem of it all is that even when ignoring all the comments, the text walls that spring up from 64 angry people are entirely distracting. It's a bit hard to play. I didn't see this option when I looked around (so please forgive me if I overlooked it and it exists), but I think an option to disable all chat text on an individual basis would be fantastic. I'm not saying to disable chatting, but only the visibility of chatting to folks who don't want to see it.
