New Campaign AI?

Hi all, does it occur to you that AI factions do not wage meaningful wars and fight strategic battles? AI armies roam around for no clear purpose and do not make intelligent sieges, while keep chasing nearby caravans... Is it possible to re-work the AI a bit to have them gather armies and attack castle towns that make sense in expanding the realm? instead of attacking towns that is so remote that is impossible in defending...

Yeah that makes me want to rip my hair out because it is so annoying.
