[NC2019] Grand Final & Bronze Match

Welcome to the Grand Final & Bronze match thread which will mark the end of this 10th edition of the Nations Cup. We are looking forward to this exciting match between North America and France as each of them seem very eager to take the trophy home.
For this last week, maps will still be decided via a pick & ban system which is described below.

Important: The bans and picks are to be done on steam between captains only. We strongly encourage you to contact an administrator of the tournament to help you in that process.
Map 1 Factions: Nords vs Sarranids
Map 2 Factions: Vaegirs vs Rhodoks
Team A: Left of the fixtures
Team B: Right of the fixtures
The teams can ban and pick from the official map pool.
1) Team A bans one map.
2) Team B bans one map.
3) Team A bans one map.
4) Team B bans one map.
5) Team B picks map 1.
6) Team A picks map 2.
In case of a draw in the score, after both maps have been played, a tie-breaker will ensue on Winterburg, with the following faction: Sarranids..

The thread has been posted rather late which I apologize for. Either way, after discussing with North America about our match, we figured out that agreeing on a one-week extension would be more beneficial for both teams as it was hard to find a day during this week where both teams could play with their main line-up. We finished the tournament within the deadline we (admins) had set at the beginning of the competition and one week less or one week more won't change anything.
North America vs France will, therefore, happen Sunday 8.12.19 with the time still to be discussed. We'll process with bans and picks during the week.
For the Bronze match, I'm not exactly sure where both teams stand when it comes to playing it but assuming you guys want to make it happen, you obviously also benefit from the extension if you can't find a date this week (and also because the fixtures have been posted quite late).

North America 12 - 14 France
Forgive me, but I will not post the 14 tiebreaker screenshots as I want to keep my sanity.
Congratulations to France for what is, I believe, theirfirst second NC victory to date! Commiserations to NA who showed frightening performance in all aspects. One of the longest Warband matches to date, only trumped by a 14-14 draw in NC2014 as far as I know.

Wp NA. Might not have been the greatest finale to watch for sure but it takes some resilience to go to that quadruple OT and keep playing that well. It's fair to say both teams deserved to win, gratz on the match.
First NC for this generation of French players, but second for Peter as he also won back in 2012. Dude is an absolute champ.
