My men are not happy with the composition of my party.

I keep getting the above message in my game.

I have roughly 50 Mamluk troops and 6 french ones in my army. Can someone explain to me why I get this message and how I can stop it?

Troops of a wrong religious group make your party unhappy.

The french dislike the mamluks because of there religion. They crap in there helmets at night and that causes discontent.

Thats because mamliks are muslimans and the french troops are Catholics, and if you have a multicultural army you will get pain in your ass!!!

Is it written down anywhere what every armies religion is? Since I think it will be helpful the next time I make a multicultural army to beat the crap out of bandits that captured an innocent girl in Egypt and took her all the way to Paris. And gave me 15 days to get there to free her.

If you go to: Notes - Factions, and click on a faction, you can see what religion they have.

You also get a blue text message of how many units of which religion you have in your army once in a while or special occasion, don't remember it anymore. But generally as guideline, northwest is katholic, southwest is islamic, northeast is pagan, southeast is islamic or orthodox (except crusaders, which come from northwest-> so katholic)
