Currently viewing this thread:

Hello Bannerlord blog regulars and newcomers. In this entry, we are once again responding to your demands to hear more about single player gameplay - specifically, looking at the overworld map and some of the improvements made there. We revealed the map at Gamescom and mentioned some new features in the last blog. Here, we'll take what we've revealed and go into some more detail.

I would rather say that the amount of '?' in that party maybe accounts for the number of lords/warbands joined as a single map entity. Just my guess.

Possible, but my guess is from the fact that so far in the past 2 games, the world models and parties show only 2 parameters- A number and its Color. The number shows size of the party and color shows faction allegiance. It seems the latter is already true, which means it is likely for the former to be true as well (party size)

I'm still a bit sad not to hear anything about multiplayer. While I love the sp in Warband with all the mods, multiplayer is the one that keeps me playing.

If you right click on the link and choose 'Save link as...' you can download the video, worked better for me.

Pro: The dynamic economy sounds really great. Can't wait to see how it plays out in-game.
Con: Didn't see any ships, hopefully that's just because its only a lake in the background.

Can my eyes cry now ;-;

So beautiful... ;3 ;3 ;3 ;3

Time to read this blog and watch the video 100 more times till the next blog releases. :razz:

Anyone notice how sturiga took the village from battania and battania taking western empire fiefs ;O xD. AI goin' ham!

"in fact Bannerlord's map is somewhat more mountainous."

I really hope this won't lead to making one of the biggest Warband issues being even bigger: Terrible battle map generation when in mountainous areas. I hope you've learned that battles in such places are almost never enjoyable. You ought to fix it in this game, or it will be extremely annoying.

By the way, watching in slow-mo reveals more of the action.

Just caught one detail:

Also, settlements also change their icons in the aftermath of a siege as to reveal destruction:
