Yes, I jus fixed the specular maps, that's why it doesn't glow like before.

is the multi-colored emblem on the shield that of a royal spartan family?

Yes it is. I happen to really like this particular design, I use it most often.

cause i've made a search in the moddb and in the mods under construction,
and couldn't find it.

Nonono, Rome At War is an excellent mod, made by different people. If you like the Hellenistic age, I would recommend playing it, it is worth every moment. 
I am working on my other mods, the Sword and the Axe(Viking mod), which is already released, a big mod that I have in progress set in 270BC and as a coder in Europe 1200 mod team, where I help remake the mod and add on it.

i've spent a lot of hours in raw, and it is excellent. especially texturing and battle mechanics are un-paralleled.
but i feel that is is on a very early stage. i never had it for vikings they were just hairy lunetics running with big axes .
is the mod that is set on 270 bc, anywhere where i can track it?

Nah, my big mod is still in very alpha stages and I am pre-occupied with all the other stuff, so once I finish all those, I Will give it the full attention it needs.
