Is there a way to say when you are in Swadian plains it will only generate flat/slightly hilly terrian instead of giant mountains? Basically can we generate the fighting scene directly from the normal map? I have yet to find a mod that does that and I doubt that you can mod it. Any answers would be great.

I am pretty sure you can do that in a edit mode ( enable it in 'configure', before entering the game) .
