Need More Info Infinite loading screen during Siege Defense

Summary: Vlandians attacked Ortysia with about 600ish men. I've been waiting for the Siege to load for about 10 minutes now. I don't think this type of loading time is normal since I've been in Sieges before and it loaded just fine. Maybe new patch messed something up ?

UPDATE: Game has been loading for 30 minutes now. Infinite loading screen is back is pretty much confirmed in my case.
UPDATE 2: Seems to be happening in every single siege defense in my game. Not settlement Specific. Game is unplayable.
UPDATE 3: I forgot to mention that everytime after I close the game and re-open it the game starts in Windowed mode.

How to Reproduce
: Unknown
Quest/Settlement Name (if related): Ortysia (Apparently not Settlement specific, multiple people seem to have this issue with different locations).

Same problem. My castle (Ab Comer Castle) has been besieged, so I wanted to break in to help my garrison. But when I'm in and wanna fight, loading screen is infinity. Yesterday when i was attacking it was without this problem...
 
Can confirm again. I am getting infinite loading screen while defending my Morenia castle. 869 attackers and 322 defenders. I am in the Western Empire faction defending against Battania faction.
 
Started a new Playthrough, and it happens in this one as well. Patch broke something when it comes to siege defence 100%
 
I have played for like 30 hours now and it happened only twice. If it loads longer than 10-15sec I just close game and load save and it works.
But yeah this should be fixed as its kinda major bug.
 
Same problem (e1.0.4). Was trying to defend Omor and nothing worked. Always infinite loading screen...
My Workaround: Barter free passage and get away :sad:
 
FYI Did a new test on the new patch 1.0.5 and it is still not fixed. Gotta wait up a bit longer.

Also note that, during the waiting phase, commanding troops seems to partially take effect. Visible in the last part of the logs as well, i.e Infanty Follow Me

Edit: Further notes: increasing quality settings and setting Partical Details to High crashes now. Although can't tell if my GPU is officially supported or not.

I've got the exact same problem.
What might help is lowering the battlesize and the amount of corpses.
I did this and I was able play the siege. YET it didn't work with all my sieges. So I'm not sure whats up with that?
So I hopes this helps you and others, Its worth a try i guess. Hopefully they find a permant fix soon.
 
Hello, sorry for the late reply. We have fixed a considerable amount of the problems we have encountered so far and improved the game performance with the multiple patches we have released. Please make sure that your game, your drivers, and OS are up to date and the game has necessary permissions over your security software. Please let us know if the problem persists after completing these steps and verifying the integrity of the game files through Steam.
