I'd advise contacting the support, either for Steam, or Taleworlds itself.
And the game definitely isn't in trial mode?
A quick google search brought up a person with a similar problem, but he could play it in Administrator mode.
Okay, this is pretty straightforward but there's no guarantee it will work.
Open windows explorer, and copy this directory in (alternatively you could navigate there yourself):
C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\mount & blade with fire and sword
Now, look for a program called "mb_wfas", it's an application file (.exe) with the F&S symbol.
Right click on this, select properties. Then go to the Compatibility tab, and there should be a box named "Run this program as an administrator", check it, then try launching the game by directly clicking on the same "mb_wfas.exe".
