I it just me or does the extra arrow perk not work

I heavily invest in archery in the intro story beginning.
I also invest in horse back riding.

Then shortly after that I gain the perk for extra arrows while on the battle field.
this does not seem to work.

I think it may have something to do with the fact that arrows are sold in groups. Then instead of being able to add in the extra few you could take on the field with the perk it adds nothing.
I hope I am not seeing things here.

If it's the perk from athletics, you need to start the battle dismounted, on paper - I unlocked the one for throwing weapons, put my horse away but don't get the extra weapon either.

Doesn't work for me either, just tested on a fresh character, 27 arrows in a quiver before the Riding perk "Spare Arrows", still 27 after. I do start the battle on the back of a horse. I tried with both a sumpter horse and a "real" horse like a trotter

I don't think a lot of them work. The +1 influence for being a vassal doesn't work either which sucks because that stupid "Trial by Jury" decry is slowly sucking me dry and making it very hard to get enough influence to do anything in the game.
