The reason is simple: too much noise in the chat. Too much nonsense, hatred, people calling each other names, calling their moms, ****ting on each other, it's just impossible to enjoy the game!

And no, I can't ignore chat, because I just see it and automatically read it, it's just in my vision area.

Hello and thanks for reporting. Honestly I feel the same while playing. Currently you can mute players from scoreboard. And we have plans to introduce better reporting and global mutes soon to prevent this issue.
