How on Earth do you command the bots in Squad Leaders? It seems Q commands don't work, nor regular commands, nor spyglass commands. Can someone please tell me, as I don't want to abandon such a good mod over this.

As far as i'm aware it does work. Well it's worked for me last time I played it.
Just zoom in with the spyglass, then icons will pop up in the top-right telling you what buttons to press to have a unit carry out your orders. And a green poof of smoke will indicate where the order has been ordered on.

Why did they have to **** up and over complicate things so much? 
Why would such a minor issue be a problem, I don't want to have to get out a notebook and pen just to fight a single battle with non-retarded bots.
Whenever cavalry charges my men, and they fire, they sit like vegetables. Unlike NW, they don't automatically turn to their melee weapons.
When I made a Deluge server, nobody knew how to command the troops, so I had to change for a NW mod.
