I'm sure players who play in tournaments are as tired of this behavior as I am.
Two horsemen with spears and shields are opposed to each other. They'll almost always fall into a pattern of circling at close range, getting their horses butt-to-butt, then (virtually) breaking their spines to twist in their saddles to poke at each other's horse.
First of all, a horseman should try to keep his adversary in front of him! And next - WHY spend all the time trying to spear the poor horse?? The bout is decided by putting down the rider, and unhorsing the rider doesn't do much; I figure the guy on the ground usually dumps the remaining horse before one of them succumbs to their pokes.
PLEASE expend some effort to quell this ridiculous behavior!
