Halp me make a PC

Users who are viewing this thread

I'm getting a new computer soon, as it's my birthday and I've been saving up myself as well.
I have looked at PC parts myself and came up with some stuff, but I'd like to see what you guys can make for 500-600€.

Doesn't have to run Skyrim on highest, just something that'll run most of the games on medium or so. Price doesn't include Windows and I have a case already.

Country or preferred website to buy things off of would be a start.

Without knowing prices from your country :

i5 2500k -$150
z77 motherboard - $100 +
8gb ram - $70
660ti / 7870 - $250 (7870 comes with free games , 660ti comes with coupon for free to play games).

Probably can't get the graphics card nor processor that cheap from around here.
Here's the main sites in my country:
http://1a.ee/
http://atf.ee/

Edit - I'm from Estonia.

By the looks of most things you would be better off buying everything from another country

If you can provide me links to sites that ship overseas and the shipping rates aren't ridiculously high, why not?

Unless you buy everything off china and have them mark everything as a gift you will get dinged for tax and duty most likely though. There won't be a legitimate site that magically can avoid this.

I said "ridiculously high"! I can get pretty much everything besides processor and the graphics card for the same price around here I think.

I've bought cpus used off ebay before with no issue so you *could* try that if you find one cheaper and ask them to label it a gift (just make sure they are reputable and not brand new basically). GPU would be harder to get overseas since they are somewhat bulky and weigh a few pounds. Not quite sure what the savings would be this way, next best thing would be to find local forums for your country and see if they have a buy sell trade section. I usually buy all my components used since it is a lot cheaper.
