Oh yeah for sure, I'm talking about jokes like having a vehicle that spews sewage on everyone, GTA IV had the right amount without going into Saint's Row territory that Vice City and San Andreas had

It left the over the top humour in GTA 2. 3, Vice City and San Andreas however had some excellent parody. IV on the other hand was as amusing as colon cancer.

I found that 4 still had quite a bit of humour. Then again, my sense of humour at times can be pitch black, so it's probably not a good indication

Of course there was some humour in GTAIV, but yeah. Much less than in the previous games and pitch black. I did laugh out loud when that annoying ex-gangsta and his cameraman got shot in the head.

Not really, they either recycled old jokes or used Ricky Gervais, a man who is about as funny as rectal bleeding.

I found IV pretty funny, it was just all the pain-in-the-ass stuff they put it in the game that made it feel like a chore which I didn't like.

Then again I liked The Office, and I loved Extras. Not so much his stand-up.

I found it funny to pick friends up on a bike then 'accidentally' plough full speed into a car. Flying is fun.

* It takes place in San Andreas in the year 2012. The Mayan end of the world thing is parodied a lot because of this.
