Good low-cost mic for voice acting

I want to try some voice acting and maybe use that for Hiridia. However, all of my mics seem to distort my voice. I am thinking that the mics don't have a low enough range and are cutting part of my vocals out. I tried the mic built in to my mp3 player, my laptop stereo mic, and my Logitech desktop mic. This is similar to the Logitech mic that I own: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836111601. I would like something under $50 that can pick up lower ranges well.

I have that exact mic, its fantastic, picks up almost everything, I can talk from about 20ft away and it still works on Skype.
