game saves not woking for diplomacy mod

I downloaded and installed the diplomacy mod, and followed the tutorial instructions on how to play my native saved games on the diplomacy mod, I copied my saved games into the diplomacy folder, and every time I try to play my saved games on diplomacy, the game freezes, then my computer freezes. What is going on ? What do I do ?
Please help me ?
