Game keeps crashing when entering towns

I play on Xbox series X and even After reinstalling, using performance mode, and just trying to figure it out, I can’t walk around any settlements. Before this, I was experiencing some weird texture glitch. When lots of units were together, the graphics would start to blur and then the screen would start flashing blue and in worse cases, really bright purple and white like it was just dying. I have no clue why this is happening, but this is probably because of the latest update. I don’t have video since it just kept dying and now I can’t replicate it anymore, so if you want to try it, then enter towns for awhile

Try turning shadows OFF or setting performance to LOW, see if one of those helps.

I already tried performance mode and the shadows didn’t make a difference
