That's more than likely a setting option in your PC settings. Laptops by default usually have it set to where it limits to 30fps to save power when not connected to power. Go to your windows setting and look for power settings, you should find the option to switch it there.
but it did not happen with other games
and i checked it goes from 80+ fps to 20+ fps the moment i unplug the ac adapter
there is however the obvious option of batter battery/better performence function on windows 10 and i tried switching which didn't help
and also tbh i don't mind this thing since anyway i don't like gaming on battery power casue it eats through battery so fast used to play sc2 only when the ac is conncected but i thought i should report this bug
Hello, most of the laptops will drop the GPU and CPU frequency when un-plugged, even if they are set to maximum performance. Unfortunately, we can not do anything about it.
