Flags on armor/surcoats

I was wondering... many of the lords seem to have a surcoat that looks like their coat of arms, yet when i get surcoats they stay white. Would it be possible to get myself on of their armor?

As well, When i saw the strange armor set, i always wondered if i could get one of those little flag thingies on it like you see on samurai >.>

If i could be given a place to start and such, i would gladly do this personally and upload it to the repository, but at the moment i am clueless as to how i would do this.

theres a plain surcoat...and a heraldic one...you want the heraldic one

you'd have to check mods for the flags though

Oh ok ill look into that.

This also tells me that some type of coloring on a fabric in the game is possible.. i just need to get it into a nice little flag looking thing and on the back of my strange armor.
