Fixed? Shield Skill.

I was going to add some points to the shield skill when I remembered about a particular bug in 1.003/1.011 where if you put points into the shield skill it will also raise your enemy's skill: http://forums.taleworlds.com/index.php/topic,48117.0.html

I couldn't test this myself as I'm not reliably good at archery/xbows to get consistent results... Just wondering if this has been fixed in Warband? Or has anyone tested this to see if it's been rectified?
