Enemy Combat Movement Too Precise

On the recent beta branch I've noticed that the enemy movement is terribly precise. So precise that they lock on to you, surround you, and it almost feels like you are in direct control of their movement. With the exception of turning and running at full speed, there is no way to footsie out of a surround.

One thing about MP is that if a single player is surrounded by multiple players, they can absolutely footsie themselves out of the situation.

I think you used to be able to do this. Block one enemy by using another enemy's body, but now it seems impossible.

Is any one else experiencing this?
