Q: This is the first time this group of people play as one in a major tournament, but not necessarily your first tournaments on warband as players. Can you explain to us how this team came to be? A: We were a small friendly group, we've joined many tourneys in TR, we just have passed to EU and as you said it's our first time in a major tourney like this. Its a fun and exciting thing for us, we are happy about joining. In the beginning, our roster had only players who are coming from our community to seek some fun and experience. However, in WRL I wanted to play more try hard and so I called some experienced players. The roster which we have right now has experienced players too and I am happy about that. Q: Some of your players are regarded as ‘match-making’ players in, in the sense that they are very active there but have not yet performed at the top level in official European competitions. Do you agree with that statement and what do you make of it? A: Yes, some of my players and I haven't been able to play in the level of Division A and furthermore we haven't been able to experience that competitive environment. We are playing Matchmaking when we are in the Teamspeak with our friends to have fun, passing some time and if we have a match tonight to get warm-up. We have some successful players in there. Moreover, we have some players who had played in Divison A and they are helping us with their experience. I thank them also Q: Despite the switches in Group D at the beginning of the ECS, you guys were always considered as the number one seed of that group and confirmed it by qualifying to the Masters Group. Do you agree with the seeding that was done initially, for you but also for other teams? A: Seeding was good for me and it was fairer with the changes made, it was normal that my team was in the first seed of Group D from the beginning, there are very good teams there too, of course, the most competition was there, it was fun, the only thing that annoyed us was that we had no official match for two weeks. Apart from that, the seedings were good for me. Q: You proved that you deserved your spot with the Masters as you managed to draw against another team in that group, Tilted Stabbers. Can you talk us through what worked for you guys in that match and instead, what prevented you from taking the victory? A: Our match with Tilted Stabbers was very exciting and good, congratulations again. We were expecting to win instead of a tie, but we thought we lost because of the tactical mistakes I made individually. I am managing a team for the first time and I am not really experienced in this matter, I try to improve myself by making mistakes, and I have a hard time managing myself as a cavalry main player. I plan to develop it further.
Q: This week, you will be facing GODSENT, who has shown difficulties against Time Travellers last week. How confident are you guys in that match and do you think you still have a shot at grabbing one of the two first places? A: This week we will face Godsent, I wish them good luck, they are indeed a good team. Time Travelers is also known as a good team with their players, but I believe and wish that our team will be in the top two in Masters Group. GODSENT is a tough opponent but I hope we will cope with it. Q: Is there any thoughts or shout-outs you would like to share with the rest of us as a conclusion to this interview? A: Thanks to all the staff for organizing the tournament and keeping the competitive community alive. Also, thank you Tardet for this interview and all the things you have done so far. I wish good luck to everyone in the tournament and I hope it will be fun and fair. |
