In previous instalments of our weekly updates, we introduced you to the major powers of Calradia and talked about the historical influences that we used as a foundation for creating our own take on the early medieval period. In this week’s blog, we thought it would be nice to put a face to a name, so to speak, by sharing each of the factions’ banners with you. After all, this is Mount & Blade II: Bannerlord…

So well designed! It looks exactly product of some serious plans and research. But first I should wash my Khuzait flag with blood

Interesting blog !
I'm very pleased to see a Triskell as a banner for Battania, that's very satisfying ! I don't know if I can be more impatient to play this game (I already can't wait for thursdays...)
Thanks to the team and to you Callum

I actually really like this blog. I like the Empire's Banner and that there is three different versions. My only complaint is minor and is that I wish the orange for the banner was a bit brighter. Also will you bring back a certain Warband banner for nobility please? Or at least let us make it in the banner maker? (I think there is going to be one but not sure.)

Its the third on the first page when you are picking a banner in Warband and is black and white and has a eagle on it. I haven't been on the forum long enough to be allowed to post a link.

Actually, it wasn't too bad. I did not expect it, and it still wasn't a big topic, but I enjoyed it. I liked all of them.

There are eight factions total and three of them have blue banners if we don't count the purple Empire, and I thought that we may confuse them with each other, but they have completely different troops so not. We can get used to them.

The Empire is in three parts but is that mean they still possess the same type of troops and stuff, and just wearing a different color on the battlefield, or do they have differences? I suppose not, because they are the same nation after all.

Vlandia is basically the same as Scotland, but with the colours reversed.

Not sure I want to play as them anymore.

If these are the faction banners, individual lords will still have their own, right? Any chance we could get a look at those too? These look so good, I'm excited to see what other banners I'll lead into battle/run away and cower in fear from

"The trouble with Scotland is that it's full of Scots."

(Couldn't really pass that up, sorry)

Nor I, if the Vlandians are as bad at fighting as William the Lion...
