DDS converter ...

I tried DDS Converter 2 but it doesnt work on Windows 7. I do not have Photoshop. So if anyone know a program that could be use to converter .dds to an image file and to convert that image back to a .dds, i'll be more than happy to know it please

I use paint.net to open and save .dds'

I have a windows 7 and use dds convertor 2 and theres no promblem, and paint.net doesnt allow you to open all of the dds files and its limited. When i use the dds convertor you cant double click on a file to convert it, it aint work like that, you just click on the drop down menu and select a file and even thats limited as there are only 10+ dds files to choose out of even thought theres more than that. Could anyone help with the dds convertor.

I usually copy the file to desktop. The converter does have some limits. I can't remember exactly the cause, but it can't convert some of the files. In this case, you need a program that at least will let you open dds and save as some other format if it doesn't allow you to edit dds directly.

DXTBmp. All you'll ever needs. Even allows you to add/remove alpha channels.
