pardon me but i have another question. it says i need  to place custom_commander_camera anywhere where I see "common_custom_battle_tab_press," in module_mission_templates.py

I clicked the open module for mission template but i can't find it. am i supposed to create a new record?

Those are at the bottom...and are only for custom battles. I'm too lazy to explain it...Read the previous page to see where to add the custom_commander_camera, line, to get it to work with all the battles.

Rubik, is there any way to reposition the crosshair for range weapon in custom camera, please?

I am not able to do that. Custom camera is suitable for melee fight. It's hard to adjust the crosshair with custom camera.

Well, I usually play as an archer of some sort and haven't found it difficult to aim as good as with the default camera on, from almost isometric point of view. It just takes some getting used to the camera's movement. I haven't tested how it works with horse archery though.

custom_battle_camera is commaless and does not have place there. Move it someplace else.
