I just googled "Warband 1.143 Feudal Japan" and found this. Everything I was looking for in a feudal period Japan mod. I'm still downloading, atm, but considering it was the top hit on Google, I think the people have spoken and this is probably the definitive Japanese mod for Mount & Blade Warband.
