tialexandre and Sir Avondor, you may want to adjust your expectations- this is a game based on the Warband engine, like Napoleonic Wars, and as such the general look of the game will be the same as Warband. I'm fairly sure that the only scope for aesthetic improvement is in new textures.

Nope. Just making suggestions to help deal with the critique. The textures look good to me. The only improvement I can suggest is to do with the shaders.

I was more referring to Arvondor. Your critique was very reasonable.

The armors look good though even if they could have far better textures.

They look fine to me. I can understand if you said that it could use minor improvements but saying that it could be far better seems unreasonable. I'm curious, what changes would you make?

They could have AO, specular, baked normal-maps, more convincing material definition (especially on the leather), more irregularities and less cartoonishness.

They don't look bad, but they could be a lot better.

Looking sexy, I like everything, especially the rich accessories on the armors, and how nicely that pistol is holstered. The three armor models below do look a tad bit late for the year the game is set in though.

True enough about the vegetation lacking shadows, but no biggie.

So far, I am pleased.

Hi guys,

We've posted screenshots with some of the new units. Take a look: http://snowbirdgames.com/?p=886&lang=en

Really good job, will we be seeing any British outfits?

Apparently you can pre-order it, though I don't know if they accept currency other than Rubles.
