Need More Info Can't get through launcher....

I played this game on release, no issues. But now:

Launcher comes up, I hit play, then nothing.
After this the launcher is running ALWAYS. It can't be shut down in task manager. If I restart computer, its running as soon as steam is running. It says on steam that I'm always in the game (my friends think I play 24/7). I have reinstalled the game twice (which was tricky, as I have to quick before steam loads try to delete all files). I have updated drivers and tried to run as administrator.

My friend who also wanted to play again, has the exact same issue!! This is not only on my end. HELP!!!

At the option ''branch'' below, I dont know if I play main or beta. I just start from steam.

It does not allow me to since the launcher is always running. But I have removed it twice along with the whole game, for reinstall. Does not work.
