Bug report-The Assembly

I have started a new story mode game in the newest version with all files vanilla, and I had been playing up to the Assembly fine. After I entered the Assembly, quicksaved, and had the first scripted lines from Horik(the ones where the camera is scripted) I accidentally force quit the game, and when I re-opened the game and loaded my save, there is no option to enter the Assembly but I still had to do that quest, so I am stuck, and there is no option to start from the Assembly in debug mode. I have not yet tried to reproduce the bug since I do not have another save close to the part I want at hand. Should I post the save game file somewhere? Thanks!

Also, when I saved to another slot, this problem persists.

1) are you playing the latest vanilla version of the game? That means VC 2.036, with no mods/tweaks/cheats. If yes, go to 2

2) post your rgl_log.txt (found on game folder).

3) post a link to download your savegame (Dropbox, GoogleDrive, etc)

4) post your computer info (your OS like Win10 64bits, Ubuntu 17.10, etc)

5) describe your game/campaign (storyline or sandbox, what you were doing, etc)

6) a screenshot of the issue if possible. You can post it here: https://tw.greywool.com/i/

7) post your rgl_config.txt (found on your /Documents folder)


devs need that kind of information to check your game.

I am indeed playing in the newest vanilla version. The save game is at https://drive.google.com/file/d/1S6Rrh-pw-9eXfGrKcfgHOO2Ma1mzsNdc/view?usp=sharing. The rgl_config.txt is athttps://drive.google.com/file/d/13v-_09nqFd4V4DHghOv6poVNHQwMYjP0/view?usp=sharing. I was not able to find the rgl_log.txt. I know such a file should exist from previous experiences but it does not for some reason. I am using a mac with Mac OS version 10.13.43. As I said, I entered the Assembly and accidentally force quit during the scripted event with the camera panning to Sigurd and Horik, and when I restarted the game the option to enter the Assembly is not there, but I still have the quest.

BTW I had been playing it in Simplified Chinese and when I switched to English the quests and many party names do not show up which I think is a known issue. That's why I screenshotted the quest page in Simplified Chinese.

Hi richardhixx,

That's a known error that happens when you force the quit...I would suggest you to load a prev savegame. In you don't have any, you can try to use the cheat menu (Camp->Options->More->Toggle cheat menu->Storyline Cheats) and re-launch the mission... but I'm afraid I cannot ensure you it will perfectly work.
