It would appear that the Soviets are solidly an NPC. I will be controlling them for now.
Anyone with prior deals or such with Eternal should contact me. I will be conducting those affairs from now on.

The United Kingdom has a replacement, Amontadillo, and he will join the game this turn, once his card is ... readable.

I can read. I just think that the host has so much meta information that it's a bit unfair for him to be a major power.

It could certainly revive the game politics wise but it's weird.

Sorry, guys. I don't feel like I can host this anymore. Not sure how else I can say it.

Wish luck to whoever the next guy is.

It was fun while it lasted, and I learned a lot about hosting so that next time (if there is a next time that I host a full-on BoP and not a LITE) things will hopefully be better organized and better thought-out. I hope the game was fun for the (majority of) players and that it was worth your time. It was certainly worth mine.

Great game everybody! I had an awesome time.

So um... any chance for a "where are they now" kind of final turn report?

Next BoP, remind me not to do the same thing as every other game.

But seriously, good work Pixel. Was an enjoyable game, and you were a consistently good host.

As an aside, there is an option to put a game into stasis on the BoP tool, on the off chance you want to re-open it later. Also removes it from the active game list until it's re-opened.

This would be a hard one to come back to though, since there was so much active diplomacy. I'm sad it's closing, as I was slowly but steadily making a great socialist utopia out of Canada.

Personally, I don't think I'd have much interest in reprising my role if this were the case.

Mexico is for the people!
Mexico was about to have a republican uprising if you continued to (seemingly) ignore it.

It was sort of cool to see Mexico's player doing much the same sort of liberal reforms as the real King Maximiliano (the one from ~50 years before) but he was eventually overthrown in a similar manner.

I don't think I'll be coming back to this. I think the 20th century as a setting for BoP has been largely overdone. So if I ever host again (after BoP LITE: Conquistadors) it'll be a different setting entirely.
