Sorry about us not wanting to bring in people mid game, but kiss got onto us last time we did it and I wanted to save us both the turmoil

Hold on, I gotta check my blame quota for today. :roll: Yep, I can take it. :wink:
I'm really not sure what happened, though. Green mentioned disconnects: if that was the case then you don't have to wait till the end of the 4-round period to make a substitution.

No, this particular instance was when our 7th showed up in the middle of a set and they had guys in spec ready to play. Most disconnects were happening when we started/reset maps. 2 of our guys were often dropping every time we started a map from the admin panel. Rox, Cheese, Foxen, Snoop and maybe a few others were getting these spikes regularly (Look at Roxhard's ping):

Yeah, I also saw Pizza's ping up that high a few times and Snoop's got up to 200 or so. I guess we should make the rule that no one gets to download Russian Midget Transsexual Bestial Porn ( :shock:) until after the match.  You got that Snoop! :lol:

Have you had problems with the server before starting the match? Have you tried a different server? Have you notified an admin present (Fehnor) of the issue? Where there other admins present at any point during the match?

@KissmyAxe and Eternal

It's okay. We're not disputing or anything like that. It's a prelim anyway. We toyed with asking to change servers after map 1, but we also knew that those 4 peeps would probably have the same probs on other servers as it was likely due to their internet traffic / isp rather than the server itself (many of us were fine). I just wanted  peeps to be aware of some of the issues we were having in case it wasn't an isolated incident.

I'm not treating this as a dispute, Green. Both teams had bad experience with the match (which is about as much I'm certain about at this point). John has referenced a rule violation that occurred a few weeks ago, and I was just trying to understand the connection. But whatever the reason was, I am interested in making sure they are handled in the best way possible and we all have better experiences from the matches. But to do that, I need to know what happened.

We were 6v6. Then our 7th arrived. Koa had 8 players currently available iirc. We just wanted to bump it up to 7v7 in the middle of a set,  but then we were informed that it had to wait until the set was done. That's all.

You did the right choice. I doubt I would've reprimanded you if you had put that 7th in, really the rule is for swapping out a worse player for a better one in the middle of a set, but either way that's fine.
