Dear Lords, Ladies, and Scholars of Taleworld,

Today, we shall delve into a burning topic that ignites the multiplayer battlefields of "Mount and Blade: Bannerlord": the infamous backcapping! But before we jump into this delightful controversy, let me introduce our mysterious protagonist, the player who, during a siege match, boldly declared to report all those 'wicked backcappers' on the forum but never actually did!

We have all encountered these sneaky heroes, these masters of stealth who glide like shadows in the night, behind enemy lines, heedless of the roaring swords or whistling arrows. They play with the rules, navigating the art of war like seasoned sailors braving turbulent seas.

Yet, our knight of denunciation, this Hercules of the forums, remains silent as a clam, as if lost in the labyrinth of his own fiery proclamations! Could it be out of fear of the echo his message might provoke? Or perhaps he himself has become entangled in the endless siege, unable to see the end of the dark tunnel? History may never tell...

Nonetheless, brave knights and valiant Amazons, allow us to take a impactful stance in this dispute! Is backcapping an unparalleled cheat? We dare to argue otherwise! Backcapping is the subtle art of playing with the enemy's minds, sowing confusion in their ranks, and making them taste the bitter flavor of defeat! Is this not an asset for the cunning and astute souls among us?

The crowds roar, hearts beat, is honor at stake? Indeed, but what is honor compared to victory? Do battles not hinge on all means, in a ballet of ever more inventive strategies?

So, noble enigmatic player, we invite you to step out of the shadows and wield your pen to recount your legend, the story where you trample conventions, where you weave your spider's web to surprise your enemies. Mount your virtual steed and brandish your pen like a lance, for in the kingdom of Taleworld, everyone has the right to their voice, and every voice carries a shard of truth!

And to you, dear readers, share with us your epic adventures of backcappers, your bewildering tricks, and your moments of glory in the shadows of enemy ramparts. Let us celebrate together the art of war in all its splendor, without judgment or condemnation, for after all, it's just a game!

So, awaken the tactician within you, let the archer of cunning speak, and together, let us conquer the virtual lands of Bannerlord!

May blades sharpen and keyboards crackle!
Long Live the Art of Backcapping!

Backcapping is bad, it's nearly impossible to defend because of the people who go and capture G. Yet when I'm playing as attacker there is so often a flag in front of me that to take would be considered backcapping but what else do I do. It's not cheating or rule breaking but Taleworlds should probably remove it but making further back flags require capping other flags to unlock.
Let's take Baravenos encirclement. A and F should be open at the start. After capping A, B and E should be opened. After F C. After Capping B C should be opened. After capping C or E D should unlock which once captured unlocks G. That's just an example and retains the attacking in multiple directions and flanking but stops annoying runners that can't be stopped.

Your perspective is reasonable.

Striking a balance between strategic infiltration (backcapping) and realistic defense is essential. Your proposed solution of unlocking both frontal and rear flags upon capturing a frontal flag adds dynamic gameplay while curbing frustrating backcapping experiences.

The difficulty in defending rear points may depend on player numbers and team balance, but this challenge has always been present. Your idea enhances the overall gameplay experience by maintaining strategic opportunities and addressing backcapping issues.

Additionally, it's unfortunate that, as usual, Taleworlds may likely not take any action to address the problem, despite potential solutions.
