Are the banner bearers not implemented yet?

Hi there,

So first of all, I know it is a EA release and some things are still missing or are not implemented yet.

To my question: Are the banners still in the game but not implemented yet? Or are they cut out of the game?
(I'm talking about the banner bearers in battles)

I know that some modders were able to get them in the custom battles mod of the Beta, that's why I'm a little confused as to them missing now.
I feel like the are a big necessity to the immersion.

If you use cheat mode, you could get banners from your inventory. Give them to companions I guess.

No, we want to see this banners on our units. Just look at the picture on top it looks amazing with banners. Also i watched custom battle videos before the release. It's changing the whole war atmosphere. You need to see that.
