Animals?

Something like riding a Dino or having an "pet" that aids you in battles besides the common mans and woman's, i don't know if this was suggested before Im kinda new but i do think it would make the game way cooler with animals , for example having a Wolf  or (i don't know if possible) facing a dragon with your army like a Boss.
Sorry if those are stupid i don't really know much about modding
