Resolved After your heir takes over

The game gets a little weird after your heir takes over. It kind of acts like your heir isn't king, but is. It wont give him the notifications that your kingdom has gone to war. It acts funny about when you ask to get married, when you click on character screen to work on your points it brings up different character first instead of who you decided your heir is.

It corrected itself after reloading the game.
