Hi folks,
As said I have a question about the use of music in mods.
My work on the City-States of Calradia had died out because I had used a lot of items which I had mistakenly assumed to be OSP items. Later I found out they were not.
Now, almost a year later, I decided to pick up my work again as soon as I'm back in Belgium (Atm I'm not, obviously) and if I'm able to finish it this time, I'll might finally release it.
Now there is this particular question I have about what music pieces I can use in my mod.
I'm not sure if I can use them without permission from the owner, even though it has been released.
F.e. I want to use a soundtrack by Hans Zimmer which he made for Gladiator and a soundtrack by Steve Jablonsky for The Island.
Can I use these soundtracks without permission of the owner or is it necessary that I either get permission or make some music myself?
If anyone could explain this to me further, I'd be very grateful.
It is likely that this has been asked before, but to avoid finding a no longer correct answer, I'll ask it again.
