A problem getting a wife

I am flirting with the sister of the Count of Flanders. I am good friend of her brother but I can't get the permission to officially see her because their father is not present in the game to give me the permission. The only way seems to abduct her ... but I fear that this kill my relations with her family especially the brother...  and it will kill all the advantage to marry her.  what do you think ?

It's a known problem. As it is right now, you can only marry a lady if her father is present ingame. It's in the "things to fix" list, don't worry, although I can't really tell when it will be fixed.
