So here are the screenshots of the maps that are going to be played during the Siege Event.
First map: Konstanz (Made by Marth)
PS: Counting 5 ways to get to the flag, also many rooftops and ruined buildings, so there's going to be death for sure. But attackers can reach the flag in 30 seconds from the spawn if they open the front gate. Defenders should beware the hidden passages. Idea came from my book. Seriously.
Second map: Berlin (Originally made by BOBO, revised by Marth)
PS: This map looks pretty big and unbalanced, but it merely takes a minute to get to the flag from the spawn points with medium-gear infantry. If attackers can get rid of the shooters on the walls, winning should be pretty easy. However, the players will have to decide.
Third map: Dacca (Originally made by McFlash, revised by Marth)
PS: This is the map of one of the headquarters of T_A_H, McFlash had worked on it for ages. I do not know the exact original name of it so I just renamed it to a stronghold in my book about WFaS. It's a pretty straight forward plan both for the attackers and the defenders whether to take or hold the castle. However, the deep water may hide secret tunnels which lead into the castle from the outside.
Fourth map: CHoHu Castle (Originally made by RancorSNP, revised by Marth)
PS: This is probably the greatest map of all (in kilobytes at least), my friend Rancor has released many different versions of it. It wasn't originally made as a siege map, so I had to revise it a bit. It's beautiful and it contains many explorable buildings and even the terrain feels pretty natural medieval style.
Fifth map: Castle Black (Originally made by KingArthur, revised by Marth)
PS: Yes, this is the Castle Black map from Game of Thrones, made by KingArthur in Warband. I basically had to import it and edit some things out. The tunnel underneath The Wall is able to use, the portcullis gate of it can be opened from above. The elevator sadly does not functionate, but there are many staircases to climb. Will the Men of The Watch be able to hold the castle?
Sixth map: Helm's Deep (New version, originally made by KingArthur, revised by Marth)
PS: Exceptionally great work by KingArthur, this new version of Helm's Deep took me only 4 hours to fully fix. Some of you guys might be familiar with an older version of it from Westres Siege, but this one is just as good - if not better - as the old one. Climbing the tower is indeed a hard task, but the depths of the dungeons underneath the stronghold are also explorable. We should be seeing some LoTR-like scenes as well I hope.
Seventh map: Tatar Town Siege (Originally made by Zymiex, revised by Marth)
PS: This map was originally made by the legendary mapper Zymiex, yet it has rarely been used on Westres Siege in the past. However, now it's back for the siege event! I might put Crimea in defender just to make the siege look more historical. It's worth exploring the secrets of the map, or just taking a stroll on the now accessible walls of the town.
Eight map: Alba Iulia Maris (Made by Marth)
PS: This map is a depiction of the real stronghold that was originally bulilt by the Byzantine Empire and then rebuilt by a Hungarian king on the shore of the Adrian Sea in Croatia, later conquered by the Republic of Venice and the Ottoman Empire. Its Hungarian name is "Tengerfehérvár", but since that's too hard to pronounce, the castle shall bear its latin name. The castle has walls and buildings of many styles, due to the constant change of owner in the historical times. The real castle was destroyed by the Ottomans in 1646, yet this fictional one still exists... until the attackers may capture it and tear it down.
Nineth map: Black Pearl (Made by Jack Sparrow)
http://
PS: A very well-designed and innovative map made by Jack Sparrow, one of the greatest mappers in Mount&Blade games. It is the legendary ship from the Pirates of The Carribbean series, the infamous Black Pearl, at its glory. It's a pretty straight forward siege-like battle, with all the odds being even for both the attacking royalists and the defending pirate scum.
Tenth map: Oldstones (Originally made by Luther, revised by Marth)
PS: This is the very first map of my good friend Luther, more commonly known as Icaros_Jasmin and Lord_Rivers. He did a great job putting a natural looking ruined fortress in the middle of the vanilla Swamp Delta map, then renaming it as the most recognizable ruined fortress of Game of Thrones. It's beautiful and also well-organized, not so small and not so big, simply perfect for a good siege event.
