Eärendil the Mariner
Persistent Lord of the Rings

“The others cast themselves down upon the fragrant grass, but Frodo stood awhile still lost in wonder. It seemed to him that he had stepped through a high window that looked on a vanished world. A light was upon it for which his language had no name. All that he saw was shapely, but the shapes seemed at once clear cut, as if they had been first conceived and drawn at the uncovering of his eyes, and ancient as if they had endured for ever. He saw no colour but those he knew, gold and white and blue and green, but they were fresh and poignant, as if he had at that moment first perceived them and made for them names new and wonderful. In winter here no heart could mourn for summer or for spring. No blemish or sickness or deformity could be seen in anything that grew upon the earth. On the land of Lórien, there was no stain.”

Evil Men from the East
In a dream, I saw the eastern sky grow dark. But in the West a pale light lingered. A voice was crying: 'Your doom is near at hand.'

The Last Days of the Third Age (TLD) and TLD Overhaul

The Last Days (of The Third Age of Middle Earth) got updated at moddb to version 3.6, equivalent to TLD 3.5 patched with the nightly r3282, released on 2020-07-20. It is a standalone version that works as their new base package. However, to get the latest features and fixes please regularly patch it with the latest nightly at tldmod.github.io.

The standalone submod for it, TLD Overhaul, has also been updated to version 1.8.3L. It contains the latest Woodland Realm rework and bug fixes, setting the base for the upcoming update in winter with an overhaul of the factions Gondor, Rohan and Harad.

TLD Overhaul
I wrote a little article about the upcoming patch for TLD Overhaul and the content which can expected at it. You can find the full article here:

Short summary: The upcoming patch will set TLD Overhaul to version v1.8.3L. It contains bugfixes reported from the former version as well as the for now final overhauled version for Mirkwood. Trolls and Wargs got a first overhaul now too and some other little work has been done. With the patch the mod will be equivalent to TLD nightly patch r3217, so pretty much uptodate.

Dusty Breeches
A full set of armor (all body parts) should be 5-15K triangles and weapons 1-4K, based on what in the game right now. Armor is animated, so it should be modeled using quads. Weapons (except maybe bows, which bend) can probably be modeled using tris if you want, since they don't deform (although watch out for shading artifacts if not using quads)

Armor is composed of hands, feet, torso, head, and cape/scarf/shoulder. Each should be their own object when exported. Weapons are composed of handle, pommel, blade, and guard, each their own objects, to conform the weapon crafting system.

Based on models exported from the game, you need a male and female version for torso armor and perhaps a version of each with the forearms removed/shrunk to allow for hand armor that covers the forearm. If you are using a high poly to low poly workflow, I would suggest just focusing on the high-poly models until you have the mod tools. Thats about all I can think of
