Where are the French?

The French played an important role in the Scottish wars of independence, but are nowhere to be seen in this mod. Why is this? Edward I controlled large portions of Northern France and then there is the Auld alliance.

Because this mod concentrates on Britain

I would of thought the name of the mod would make the answer to this question pretty obvious.

If I were to include France in the mod I'd have to make Britain muuuch smaller, it's not really worth it to be honest.

i think he means like french mercs helping the scotts or something like that

If I can weigh in with a historical opinion; it is true that the French had a historic alliance with both Wales and Scotland. Apart from a few failed attempts at invasions, however, French troops would only land on English soil long enough to make a difference a hundred years after this mod is set, during Glendower's failed revolt, but would eventually simply return to France. The presence of French funds or a few mercenaries might be a nod to acknowledge the history, but in my opinion it's a lot of work for an insignificant point.

And to add to that perfectly correct statement, theres already many other merc partys and just to add that to make you happen with the realism would be a waste of peters time which could be spent on content patches or his new mod.
