Applying features into other mods

Hello to all
I'd like to ask is it possible to take features from new dawn, and put them into other mods.
What I have in mind, is to take few factions (Georia, Balion etc.) and put them into floris, since overall gameplay of new dawn is something I can't stand, except the factions I want to "rip out"

You would need the source code in order to do that. And I think the author won't release it... All you can do is adapt damages in the module.ini to your convenience if you don't like the way it's done.
