You will all remember last years winners Poland clinching an exhilirating final against surprise finalist BeNe. Expect more of the same? Can Poland clinch a 3rd Nations Cup win?

DRAW BEGINNING

We will be staring with Pot 1. Teams will be random selected from pot and placed into a group.

Pot 4
Austria & Switzerland
Czechoslovakia
Ireland
Yugoslavia

That's Pot 4 done, Pot 3 next. Some very strong teams in this group. Can the Scandinavians reclaim their throne? Will Finland repeat their previous NC heroics? Can Spain roll back the years and put in a big performance? Maybe.

Pot 3
Finland
Norway & Denmark
Spain
Sweden

Sweden

Sweden placed into Group A! No longer with their Scandinavian allies from when they emerged as victors in the 2014 Nations Cup, Sweden still post some of the scene's strongest players.

Finland

Finland placed into Group B! Knocking out the USA some time ago was probably Finlands most memorable Nations Cup triumph but this small country always boasts a fearsome and well organised roster.

Spain

Spain placed into Group C! Spain may have suffered a few barren years of inactivity but they also boast an array of talented players. A knockout stage appearance at least must be the goal for this side.

And we are left with Norway and Denmark.

Norway and Denmark

Norway and Denmark placed into Group D! Big questions remain over how this side will cope without the alliance with Sweden. Nonetheless it boasts some serious quality and could threaten any side if it plays to it's full potential.

We're at the halfway mark now and here's a look at the groups so far:

Group A
Sweden
Czechoslovakia

Group B
Finland
Austria & Switzerland

Group C
Spain
Ireland

Group D

Norway and Denmark
Yugoslavia

France

France placed into Group A! Their Nations Cup victory may seem long ago but France still boast one of the strongest rosters in the scene. Led by Paulo, this team will surely be intending on making a deep run in the tournament.

North America

North America placed into Group B! An interesting draw for the North American alliance. Will they avenge themselves upon Finalnd for that defeat so long ago? They will expect to go far in this tournament for sure but Home/Away always makes it an interesting gamble.
