Vikings or Seaxes (spoilers be gentle)

Hi,
loving the game so far. I'm currently on my first playthrough with VC-Reforged, I had only played non VC Warband with mods so far.
Now im at the point where I have to Apparently, this decision will have some impact, but
I'm wondering how much the storyline branches out from this point. Will the plot generally be same, no matter which side you pick, or is there a totally
different storyline for each of the two sides? Is it worth replaying the side which you didnt pick at first?
ATM I'm more biased to the danish side because I would love to raid some puny Saxons but on the other hand the interaction with Bodo seems
interesting too.
Please be some kind of vague with your answers, just giving me some general directions without revealing the plot too much. Thanks!

Well, some minor things are going to differ, especially since with the Danes you're in Norther England/Scotland and witch the Seaxe you are in Southern England.
But the Major Plot points and Battles are the same, just from different perspectives.
