Welcome to your new summer job at Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, where kids and parents alike come for entertainment and food as far as the eye can see! The main attraction is Freddy Fazbear, of course; and his two friends. They are animatronic robots, programmed to please the crowds! The robots' behavior has become somewhat unpredictable at night however, and it was much cheaper to hire you as a security guard than to find a repairman.

From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you're allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn't right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren't in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!

Can you survive five nights at Freddy's?




So yeah, brand new horror game that throws itself back into the old style of point and click horror. It's on steam for £3.99 and on Desura for £2.99, which to be honest for this kind of game isn't expensive. The basic premise is that you're some brain dead security guard who has been hired to watch over the restaurant at night and watch out for the animatronics, all of which think you are an endoskeleton that is not in its suit (which is against restaurant rules). You have to survive 7 nights (yeah I know, it says 5 nights but you get a sixth which is overtime and a seventh which is a custom level) by utilizing a security camera, 2 light switches and 2 door controls to try and stop the animatronics from catching you. If they do get into your office they stuff you into a Freddy suit, killing you.

It's pretty much the amnesia of 2014 at the moment, being praised as the most original concept for a horror game so far and the downright scariest. What do you think?.

A nice little game for all you vampire rpg enthusiasts. I only found out about this game when I was contacted by the lead dev to do a review on their game, and I have to say it is very reminiscent of Vampire the masquerade bloodlines in certain aspects. Its currently up on steam greenlight and looking for the metaphorical "green light" from steam and they have their own website with a free demo if you want to check it out or play it, you can see my review to see what it looks like and what you can expect.

Town Watch - Warband Tech Support / Server list bug

For some odd reason the server list is only showing 15 servers instead of the usual 250. This problem started after I disconnected from a Persistent Frontier mod and has been very "persistent" in staying that way, even after verifying my game integrity (which confirmed that over 2000 files had to be acquired).

I've checked my firewall settings and everything seems to be in order, and it can't be my internet connection because it occurred at my friends house (I'm back at my house now).

The Forge - Mod Development / Blender Texture error

I'm just going to cut to the chase with this one, basically I've started UV mapping my tank and well, I've encountered a problem that is confusing the heck out of me.

As you can see that UV map is for the tank chassis, and yet when applied it is clearly not applying itself to the chassis. I've separated the chassis from the rest of the model and made sure the entire chassis is selected before applying the texture. Coordinates are set to UV and projection is on flat.

Any ideas as to what is causing this?, I've tried other coordinate settings but they either cover the entire model in the UV map, or only cover parts of it.

I've been using my office built laptop for 5 years now and i'm looking to buy a decent gaming desktop for a reasonable price. I did some research and came across this computer:

Game Information

World war 1 Warfronts is an fps indie game that is being developed by an old sod with too much free time on his hands. World War 1: Warfronts is set during 1914-1918 and takes an alternate history path with tanks, semi auto rifles and LMG's being invented during the 1880's. The Triple Entente and the Axis powers don't exist, instead being replaced by the Eurofront Alliance (comprised of the UK, France, Germany, Austria and America) and the Siberasian Coalition (Russia, Siberia and Mongolia).

The Forge - Mod Development / Stretched texture on sphere[Wings 3d]

This is driving me nuts and i really need to get this done as its for college. I've marked the sphere and unfolded via sphere map only for the temp texture to be very stretched on the northern and southern hemisphere and the equator to be compressed.

Pictures tell things better than words so here's some screenshots of my problem:

I've tried marking along the equator and diagonally along the sphere but they all result in either stretched textures or they are de fragmented. If anyone has a solution to this can you please provide it as this is taking up valuable time that i could be using to texture my other models.

Napoleonic Wars: Support / Very low FPS on medium-large maps

I'm finding myself constantly looking at the floor just to get a stable FPS rate, the moment i look up it drops massively to somewhere between 8-12 fps on medium sized maps and 2-5 fps on large maps.

I have my settings on the lowest i can go and i'm using DX7, i only have this problem on maps with large amounts of flora and trees or large amounts of scene props.

Back on MM i was able to get a decent frame rate on even the largest of maps apart from snowy ones, now in NW i can run snow maps just fine but every other map i'm always looking at the floor which reduces my fighting efficiency a lot.

Is there some sort of optimization pack for DX7 or some way of turning flora off completely?.

Other Games / Napoleonic Warfare: European Battlegrounds

Hello and welcome to RedSand Studios latest creation, this started off as a simple paper based board game for our college project and we decided that it was such a good game that we'd turn it into an indie pc game.

We've worked out a pretty basic system for the mechanics which involves a square based movement and firing system, we plan on making it singleplayer with a few maps for now to start off with and then expand it as we progress. The starting factions will be the French and British with 2 unit types each(Line and light infantry).

Due to the resources available to us we've decided to stick to simple sprite graphics

Features
British and French factions
Line and light infantry unit types
Money, ranks and  army customisation would be available to the player.
Single player grand campaign, take control of the British and fight for king and country or take control of the French and expand Napoleons influence throughout Europe!
Fight against people online in a battle of wits
Achievements
Quantity vs Quality, be careful with how you balance your armies and structures

Napoleonic Wars DLC / Ammunition types

Would it be possible to include different ammunition types for the musket?, i know cannons have this feature so i figured why not with muskets, it would make engagements twice as challenging.

The most standard ammunition type for a musket was a simple lead ball and sometimes a musket was loaded with lead shot or "buckshot". I figured we could add this so that when charging into close quarters an infantryman could stop mid charge and fire off a lead shot volley into the enemy ranks.

The way a lead shot could work is the same way canister shot work with a cannon only miniaturised for musket use, of course due to the high chance of hitting with lead shot at close range the pellets could be made weaker the further away you are from your target.

The only problem i see with this is that a lot of people will shoot people at point blank range quite a lot so a way to counteract this would be to limit the amount of lead shot an infantryman can carry.
