New version of Fort Alamo

Hi,

I create a new version of fort alamo in quick battle but I dont finish it.
I have some problems with enemy AI, they dont go on the walls or go in the fort by the door
and I dont resolve the problem of horseman on the fort walls.

Some features:

-The fort have now many more walls.  :lol:
-Now, some canons are bombarding the fort. 
-There is a long railway in the scene.
-I add a bank with silver bar in but i have to put more detail in.
-Many destroy walls with many ladders.
-Some details add like waterdrain in the city, buffalo in fences and broke caravan.

I need some help with add more soldiers in the battle because it is a scenario and I can't change soldiers in a scenario. Anybody know how?

To install, place the files in mountandblade/module/1866/objscene and replace the original alamo scene by mine.

Much more fun than our current placeholder already.  Thanks for putting the time into this.

Any plans of making it look anything like the alamo?  Many of the scene props you've chosen have no business being there.  White adobe walls would be more fitting as well.  (Khergit towns are great for this).  Also, keep in mind that the final Mexican offensive took place after 12 days of artillery, so things were pretty beat up.

Let me know if this is something you'd be interested in improving.  I know a lot of people would really love a somewhat historical alamo battle.  Thanks again stormtrooper.

Nice, but it's very quickly made right?

The Saloon and Bank buildings are overlapping, the windmill seems very crooked and couldn't possibly function.
A ladder is overlapping the Saloon wall. The ground in the bank is not levelled so earth is covering some of the floor.
Several houses have snow, and some are overlapping the barricades.
And as you say, no AI mesh.

All in all a better scene, but needs finetuning. Looking forward to the next version  :smile:

Anyone know how put more troops in a quick battle?

Looks great so far.  As far as troops go, you let me know how many and I'll put them there.  The entry points we have so far are as follows:

So friendly entry points are 1 thru 6, enemy entry points 16 - 20.  Let me know the numbers you'd like to see, but keep it reasonable for those of us with weak PCs.
 
Where did you get the buffalo I didn't notice any in the mod so far.
Also have you assigned AI mesh to the scene?  That would solve all pathfinding issues.  Great work so far.  Honestly if I could pick one Western battle to be part of it would be the Alamo.  It has all the epic ingredients.  No chance of victory, heroism, killing 3 men for every one of yours lost.

Buildings 95%
Walls 99%
Canons 80%
The river 35%
Grass and tree 1%
Texture 60%
The city destroyed by the 12 days of bombing 30% (smoke, stony rubbish, hole in earth, breach in walls)
Small details like cattle, waterdrain, decorations object 10%
AI meshes 0%  :!:  i will do it at the end, can have some problems with pathfinding
Entry point, i put the fight in a breach and there is some lag and it is easy to defend, download the beta only for a look of the city because the fight are very bad.
:!: If you want it only for the battle, wait for the complete release
