Version 2.028 is now in Steam beta (instructions below).  You valiant few that aren't on Steam may still access the patch here: http://www.brytenwaldastudios.com/DownloadsVC/VC_RE_2.028P.7z

Any feedback you can give us on the changes is appreciated, as always.

- update and fix various texts
- update Spanish localization
- fix duplicate husband bug
- fix documentation for siege restrictions
- prevent player from gaining kingdom in story mode
- fix battle presentation for dog exclusion, player team (unrecognized troops bug)
- limit items in lords' halls (no more "sneaking" visible weapons with second outfit)
- initialize hunt globals correctly
- add looted hofs to recovery trigger
- refine faction identification for dialogs
- apply quest generation shutoff to "no tasks"
- apply seax exclusion to all rob prisoner dialogs
- add default to torturer dialog
- fix farmstead cattle
- allow Ashdown battle restart from mid-quest save
- bind bottom of relation boost in case somehow goes negative
- clean up post-quest locales (Sven's Hideout, Ashdown destroyed, and Boar Grove)
- avoid operations on null item or to null inventory
- fix scope, div-by-zero problems in script_battle_political_consequence
- fix capture of ships problem with autoresolve
- prohibit unusable landing points at map border
- disable companion political complaints, which are completely wrong
- attach Tref Meguaidd East to Caer Meguaidd
- fix misnamed variable (MP)
- strip practice weapons on ESC from Doccinga tutorial
- remove stray dog dialog from Doccinga tutorial
- remove dead code

Instructions for opting into the beta on Steam:
(Remember that you can also use your Warband Key in Steam if you bought your game directly from Taleworlds)

    In the Steam Library, right click "Mount & Blade Warband" and select "Properties"
    In the window that opens, navigate to the "BETAS" tab
    In the "BETAS" tab, where it reads "Enter beta access code to unlock private betas:", enter the code betapassword exactly as shown
    Click "CHECK CODE" and upon confirmation that the beta has been successfully opted into, select "beta" from the dropdown menu on the same screen
    Close the window and allow the game to update
    The Reforged Edition 2.025 beta will now be activated when you play Viking Conquest

No offence but you guys need to get your **** together. A new update is out couple days ago and in Taleworlds - silence (not in the news or main page.). Is this site is dead ?
 
Why when I try to download Viking Conquest from the page, the download is so slow, and it is not my connection, because when I download something else it download at 1Mbps.
Maybe is the download server.

I would download it from steam, but I haven't bought this DLC yet, I want to try it first. :oops:

I don't think there is a free trial (like Warband has) for the DLC. Never tried tho  :mrgreen: You can wait for a dev reply on this.

What you can do is watch some Youtube gameplay videos (avoid storyline spoilers).

just a reminder: the game is 70% off now on Steam and TW website (like ~US$ 3), so next week it will go back to normal price

Is just a module after all, the mod should ask for a serial key just for the multiplayer I think. And I wanna try this mod to watch how runs in my pc, you know, performance.

These are my specs(if you know something about this matter to help me a little)

GPU: Nvidia GT640
CPU: Intel Core i3-3240
Ram: 8GB Ddr3
Should run it at least with medium settings right?

As a rule of thumb, the Passmark ratings of your CPU and GPU should sum to 3650 to run 100x100 battles at 30 fps at Low graphics settings.

Nvidia GT640 rating: 1286 http://www.videocardbenchmark.net/gpu.php?gpu=GeForce+GT+640&id=1432
i3-3240 rating: 4293 http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Core+i3-3240+%40+3.40GHz&id=765

This is about halfway to the "Strong" config (sum 8250), so you should be able to run at medium graphics settings or larger battles.
