Workshop for pretty ladies + Tips for beautifying female faces in game

Well, I started this topic because the females in this mod look completely f**ked up, and I (among many others) wanted to see some changes made to the ugly women faces so that one can at least have some kind of motivation to get married . I know there are already suggestions about replacing the native female textures with a different one. But from what I've seen so far, none of the released female textures look realistic enough to suit the atmosphere of this mod (they either look too modern or too cartoonish).

Therefore I decided to make some female faces myself, without resorting to any texture mod. And I am using this workshop as a place where I can post some of my work and ask for volunteers who are willing to contribute screenies and codes of their female characters (to be used in this mod). Then if othr later decide to implement some pretty ladies into the game, this will the place to look for.

Well that's in fact the problem of that pink dress in native. I believe it is already deleted in this mod.

Northen african women are super-white skinned with russet hair!!!! wth?? (it's only ONE example...)

So yes, definitely need more brunettes lol.
Personally, I like your first one, but the second one isnt really good-looking for me, but hey, that's what we call individual tastes! It's a nice initiative you're taking, keep up please, and try to variate their appearance (skin, hair, facial attributes etc)...

Well for one, many rulers might have a wife who was a slave and originated in Europe, the Steppes, or even sub-saharan African. And even if they weren't slaves, they could be descendants of slaves from abroad. And even -then-, it seems like fair hair wasn't too rare amongst the Berbers, with tawny and ruddy hair attributed to them as much as darker shades.

Northern African women in Tunisia, AKA Novo Carthago, are frequently of Greek/Roman descent, particularly the nobility.  Although there was a drive towards intolerance following the excesses of the crusades, there was still a sense of reverent awe towards the descendants of Rome.  Berber women also are quite lovely, and not at all Arab in appearance.  One of the great problems with the drive towards racial intolerance, especially since the invention of the cotton gin, is the way it over-simplifies understanding of actual demographics. 

I've seen natural redheads in Northern Iraq, native to the region, but certainly not what leaps to mind when thinking about the appearance of Kurds. 

Also, there's this stuff called bleach and some other stuff called Henna that you might want to look into.

Haha ok I know there have been a lot of mixes ethnically speaking, especially around mediterranea, and that not EVERY northern african (for example) women all look alike but hey, wow wait a minute.

There might be some with russet hair ok, like one or two, but not half of them (talking about the Ladies in the mod). Same for white-skinned. As you just said, this is what I meant; it is totally not representative (right now in the game).
I don't say that all african women are black skinned lol I'm not an idiot
Only saying that there is a problem if all Maghreban women look exactly the same as Irish women (in the mod). And currently, that's how it is (in my games...).

How do you get these in-game? I would imagine it's as simple as pasting over the existing face code, but I can't find the file in which they reside.

Hey othr, isn't there some way to restrict skin texture selections to certain factions for randomly generated faces? Like in native, where swadian soldiers have a fairly distinct range of face textures...

Yeah I tried that... it sort of works, you give it a range of facecodes, facecode_a to facecode_b and it's supposed to generate a face from that range, I thought I set the racial features properly but apparently there is a problem there somewhere.
