Wonder why Rohan didn't had a professional army, can't they have a strong economy?? Or was Isengard a powerful obstacle to it?

The top-units of Rohan are horses, Isengards top-units are pikeman. So isengard is a little bit OP against Rohan. And Gondor is much more advanced then Rohan. Rohan is (but im not completely sure) inspired by the vikings.

Wrong, they might look a bit like vikings however vikings never fought on horseback.

Mongols inspired in vikings together with some medieval knights, with less armor. Rohan is unique.

Rohan's architecture definitely looks rather Nordic, and their soldiers seem to be a mix of Nordic and Germanic, except with a heavy emphasis on Cavalry.

Nordics are Germanic, but Germans aren't necessarily Nordics

If I would be a horseman, I would be from Rohan, but I like infantry, so I join Gondor or Isengard.
