This only became an issue when I upgraded from 1.5.10 to 1.6.0. It was not present in older versions.
Note the brown pixel error on the right of some of the footwear.
This happens in the shop panel, in the inventory panel, and equipped. So it's an issue with the graphic itself.
(The white pixels in the horse and tack are only when equipped, however. I have submitted a separate report about that issue.)
